Trend is your friend and today's sports trading video is a prime example of that. Betfair trading is not that difficult if we follow simple rules when trading the horse racing betting odds with BetAngel Pro. In this Betfair trading video I traded 2 horse racing markets with small stakes and while the first horse race didn't go that well, the estamblished downtrend in the second one made online trading easier for me. If only I hadn't believed in that last Breakout formation in the chart which cost me half of my winnings, although Breakouts have made me money before!

Another blank day on the horses with three more losers to add to the week, indeed not a single winner all week with action largely restricted to the all weather.
Things have warmed up somewhat, although Plumpton has gone tomorrow. All being well Fakenham will pass their inspection tomorrow and we should be ok for the rest of the week.

Familiar story again today with no jumps racing . Nothing doing tomorrow either and Thursday sounds equally hopeless.
Best chance of action seems to be Friday's card at Kelso, while Ayr have scheduled an extra meeting for Saturday so with a bit of luck that will go ahead. Kempton have abandoned Saturday's card and replaced it with (another) all weather meeting, and Wetherby's got no chance unless it warms up round here pretty sharpish.
Three bets today, but once again nothing doing as none of the selections troubled the judge.

December figures: Sports Betting: +£329.08. Poker: Loss of £188.77. (which would be more were it not for my euros in devilfish being worth more than they were at the start of the month!) Profit on month: £140.31.
2008 figures: Sports Betting: +£7,353.73. Poker: +£5,548.31. Total: +£12,902.04
I note in my first post of 2008 I mentioned that I was looking for a £6,000 profit overall, so getting more than double that is very pleasing! Nice to see that there were no losing months overall, which presumably means that I will have to keep going with the sports betting! Obviously I had the golden run in August at poker, which made up around 80% of those profits for the year!
As one or two of you may know, I used to be a member of ISIRIS (I never included any of their profits in my figures as these were solely my efforts). They finished at the end of December, I was a bit sad in a way, having been with them for a few years, although on many occasions the hassle of trying to get their bets on was really stressfull, and on occasions (especially ante post bets) next to impossible. It will be easier to calculate my p&l on betfair now without having to exclude their bets from the figures!
